This was expressed by the Founder, Glam and Fire Initiatives, Peggy Ovat during the Glam and Fire 5.0 conference held on Saturday in Lagos with the theme: “Kingdom Woman: Build to pattern”

Peggy examined the relevance of the initiative targeted at helping women become all they can be, while ensuring the systems of the world do not shrink them. The convener appealed to the government to ensure corruption does not look interesting to entice the younger generations.

Furthermore she appealed to the government to create an enabling environment that will not suppress the creativity of the younger generation

Meanwhile, guest speaker at the conference, kingdom steward, Debola Kurunmi made a call for character development and noted the necessity for shifting the women from just looking to build an assignment for God to allow themselves to be built first by God. Debola examined the Kingdom as bigger than the church being the means at which God flows through the systems of society.

Debola noted that while the world is after our gifts, God is after our fruits. Hence, she made a call for every woman to exercise character development, and the building of the inward man in a way that is honoring to the Lord, “and causes us to be qualified to carry his assignment to the nations”

Speaking to the theme of the conference, Toyosi Etim-Effiong elaborated the focus of “Building to pattern” as building according to the overall agenda of God. “As kingdom women, we do not have an agenda of our own. We are not independent, we are dependent on the Father, but dependent on the kingdom. And so what's the agenda of the kingdom? We are aligned with the agenda of heaven and what heaven has chosen for us to do” she expressed.
